Where Modernized Care and Comfort Combine

Many dental offices throughout the U.S. have changed, not only aesthetically but also technologically. Eager to bring new patients in and create a more positive approach to dental care, new services and equipment are now being incorporated into patient treatment plans. At G2 Dental, we, too, find it essential to combine modernized care and comfort, which is why we are pleased to offer advanced technologies such as digital impressions, a soft tissue laser, 3D printing, and an intraoral camera. Keep reading to learn more about these devices or call to schedule an appointment today.

Digital Impressions

Our Trios digital impression scanner helps patients feel more comfortable when preparing to receive a custom restoration or simply visualizing their mouth. Unlike goopy dental putty, which was known to trigger patients’ gag reflexes, this updated device scans your teeth and gums, producing 3D digital scans to be used in a variety of ways.

Soft Tissue Laser

When treating the soft tissues of the mouth, we use our soft tissue diode laser to target infected gum tissue, eliminating bad bacteria while avoiding healthy tissues. We also use a hard/soft tissue laser to perform gingival/bone recontouring procedures that help to expose more tooth structure by removing excess tissue, sculpt tissue to allow more smile symmetry, remove excess growths caused by cheek biting, and shorten ulcer-related sores such as canker sores or cold sores.

3D Printing

If a model is required to produce dental restorations or prosthetics, we can easily create it using our in-house 3D printing system. With uniquely designed software and artistic eyes, our team can generate a model or replica of the patient’s teeth in under an hour. This allows for a more streamlined approach and cuts down on wait time for completed treatment.

Intraoral Camera

If the idea of seeing what is inside your mouth in real-time sounds interesting, get ready. At G2 Dental, we can use this handheld device to identify existing/potential problems that involve teeth or soft tissues. Through this process, we can communicate with you as a patient what we as professionals are seeing and help you understand your options regarding treatment. We can also use these images to help with insurance claims and getting treatment pre-estimated.
